What It Does
Phoenix Trend Strength is a powerful visual indicator that color-codes price bars based on the current trend strength. It helps you instantly identify strong trending conditions versus choppy, range-bound markets.
Color Coding System
Strong uptrend detected. High probability of continuation.
Strong downtrend detected. High probability of continuation.
Weak trend or transition zone. Avoid trading or wait for confirmation.
How to Use
Trade with the Trend
Only take long positions when bars are green, short positions when bars are red.
Avoid Yellow Zones
Yellow bars indicate choppy conditions. Stay out or reduce position size.
Watch for Color Changes
When bars change from yellow to green/red, it signals a new trend is forming.

Installation
- Download the PhoenixTrendStrength.cs file
- Open NinjaTrader 8
- Go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On
- Select the downloaded .cs file
- Restart NinjaTrader
- Apply the indicator to any chart
